Job summary

Circana is seeking a Data Scientist for the Data Science Research team in the Americas, focusing on developing and enhancing algorithms for OmniMarket deliverables. You will lead research projects, analyze current solutions, and collaborate with tech and product teams to deploy innovative methods.

The role requires a strong foundation in data mining, SQL, Python, and statistics, plus the ability to communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an analytical field; Master’s degree a plus.
Experience with data mining/manipulation in SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

Define and lead customized research projects to develop Circana's methodologies and algorithms.
Analyze, interpret, and evaluate existing solutions to identify incremental improvements.
Develop and test architectures for data extraction and transformation across platforms.
Collaborate with Technology and Product Management to productionize solutions.
Investigate and resolve production and client data issues.
Provide data analysis and methodology support for internal and external requests.
Use SQL, Python, R to write and maintain code for research and analyses.
Document processes and procedures.
Present research findings to internal clients.
