Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Data Scientist specializing in AI/ML to join its distributed team. You will design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models leveraging large datasets to drive business insights and product innovation, while mentoring teammates and shaping the AI roadmap.

Required: Ph.D./Master’s in a quantitative field, 6+ years of hands-on data science, and strong Python/R with TensorFlow/PyTorch.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 6 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on AI and Machine Learning.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying production‑level ML models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit‑learn.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• A portfolio of completed data science projects or contributions to open‑source projects is highly desirable.
