Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Degree in a data-focused discipline such as informatics, statistics, data science, computer science, economics, social science, public health, mathematics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of AI tools and LLMs, machine learning concepts, and emerging technologies relevant to data analytics and data science.
• Experience managing analytics projects, contract tasks, and client-facing deliverables.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, SAS, and/or R.
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, and SourceTree.
• Stay current on emerging trends in data science and AI and apply learnings to project work.
• Experience in a consulting environment with client engagement.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain public trust access for federal information systems and pass a federal background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement and promote AI, LLMs, ML, automation tools, and emerging analytics technologies.
• Lead the development of AI monitoring and evaluation workflows.
• Oversee analysis, visualization, and interpretation of federal datasets.
• Deliver analytical products, reports, dashboards, and data-driven recommendations.
• Lead data lifecycle governance, data intake, storage, and automation.
• Establish data management policies and analytics delivery procedures.
• Develop QA/QC, defect tracking, and data governance standards for data quality and security.
• Serve as primary technical/operational contact for clients and project leadership.
• Manage priorities, resources, workloads, and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate AI-enabled tools to improve processing, automation, and analytics capabilities.
• Support proposal development, technical solutioning, and business development.
• Collaborate with teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Promote continuous improvement and adoption of best practices.
