Job summary

The BMTCI Data Quality Senior at Moffitt is responsible for providing quality assurance support to the BMT Data team, ensuring high data accuracy from abstraction and feeds from multiple sources. You will oversee QA needs, monitor data quality, identify issues, and educate staff to resolve deficiencies.

As a subject matter expert, you will ensure adherence to standards and reporting per CIBMTR, NMDP, FACT and internal BMT-CL goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years experience in data abstraction, data management, quality management.
• Experience with EMR systems and database technology in a medical research setting preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Attention to detail with ability to produce accurate deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA support and oversight to the BMT Data team to ensure high data accuracy.
• Audit data from abstraction and direct feeds from multiple sources.
• Monitor quality and educate team to resolve deficiencies.
• Serve as SME on standards and reporting per CIBMTR, NMDP, FACT, and internal goals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in biology, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Health Sciences, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Computer Science, or other related field
