Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a highly qualified BMT Quality and PI Manager to establish and maintain systems for review and approval of all BMT policies and procedures, ensuring FACT, Joint Commission, AABB and FDA compliance. You will develop and revise transplant treatment plans and lead quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the BMT Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• BMTCN certification (ONCC) preferred.
• ONC certification (ONCC) preferred.
• Current Florida RN license.
• Minimum 3 years in health care outcomes/quality.
• Minimum 1 year marrow/stem cell transplantation experience.
• Formal nursing-related education is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of records/reports for inspections.
• Serve as a resource to BMT staff and departments.
• Perform quarterly quality audits and report results.
• Identify trends and outline corrective actions.
• Monitor Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with BMT physicians and leadership to implement guidelines.
• Ensure policies/procedures meet regulatory and accrediting requirements (Joint Commission, FACT, AABB, FDA).
• Conduct scheduled/unscheduled audits and generate improvement reports.
• Participate in data collection for effectiveness analyses.
• Coordinate data submission with CIBMTR.
