Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a BMTCI Data Quality Senior to provide quality assurance support to the BMT Data team, ensuring high data accuracy from abstraction and direct feeds. The role oversees QA needs, facilitates data quality audits, and aligns with CIBMTR, NMDP, FACT and internal goals.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4+ years of data abstraction/management experience, with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biomedical sciences, public health, health sciences, biostatistics, epidemiology, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years experience in data abstraction, data management, quality management or navigating EMR systems.
• Experience in BMT data management or regulatory setup preferred; proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Familiarity with FACT, CIBMTR, FDA standards and reporting; knowledge of blood/bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA support to the BMT Data team with quality oversight and auditing.
• Monitor data quality and ensure high accuracy from abstraction and direct data feeds from various sources.
• Serve as subject matter expert on standards, requirements and reporting per CIBMTR, NMDP, FACT and internal BMT-CL goals.
