Job summary

INTech is seeking a Senior Data Modeler to lead the design of scalable, well-structured data models for a modern enterprise data environment.

This remote contract role requires hands-on expertise in relational and dimensional modeling, including Medallion Architecture on cloud platforms. You will own end-to-end modeling and collaborate with clients and technical teams to ensure scalable, maintainable data models.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Data Modeler with strong relational and dimensional modeling experience.
• Experience modeling within Medallion Architecture on cloud data platforms.
• Proficiency with ER/Studio, Erwin, SQLDBM for data modeling.
• Ability to lead data modeling initiatives from requirements to final designs.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working directly with clients in a consulting or client-facing capacity.
• Availability to work Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Design relational (3NF) and star schema models for enterprise environments.
• Develop data models aligned with Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Define entity relationships, keys, referential integrity, and business rules.
• Partner with clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into detailed models.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scalable, maintainable models.
