Job summary

Pyramid It Consulting is seeking a Data Modeler with strong OLTP and dimensional modeling experience to help build robust data architectures. You will contribute to governance, standards, and data standardization while performing data mapping tasks and ETL exposure.

Preference is given to candidates with Snowflake background and SAP familiarity, and a proven track record of designing data models from scratch.

Qualifications

• Experience building OLTP and Dimensional data models (Star Schema, Kimball).
• Background in data architecture including governance and standardization.
• Some ETL exposure and data mapping experience.
• Snowflake experience preferred; SAP background welcome.
• Data designer mindset; not heavy ETL development.
• Proven track record of creating data models from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models spanning OLTP and dimensional structures.
• Contribute to data architecture, governance and standards.
• Support data mapping tasks and ETL-related activities as needed.
• Leverage Snowflake and SAP where applicable within projects.
• Create data models from scratch and ensure consistency across domains.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Data Modeler who has worked extensively in building OLTP (Transactional/3rd Normal Form) & Dimensional Data Modeling (Star Schema Modeling/Kimball's methodology). Additionally worked on Data Lakehouse (Medallion Architecture)

Must have some data architecture background. Data architecture encompasses data modeling, data governance, data standardization) etc.

2) Must have done conceptual, logical & Physical data modeling.

3) Some ETL exposure needed as he will be doing data mapping.

4) Snowflake background is preferred.

5) SAP background is preferred.

6) Not looking for a heavy duty ETL developed. Looking for a data designer.

7) Must have built data models from scratch.
