You will work with engineers and analytics teams to ingest, store, and transform large volumes of data while maintaining quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and building production-grade batch data pipelines.
• 8+ years of overall experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Databricks, Python, Apache Spark, Git, Azure services (Synapse, Azure ADLS Gen 2).
• Strong understanding of relational database principles, data modeling, database management, and data warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of Big Data querying tools.
• Experience optimizing large-scale data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Develop and maintain SAS programs and SSIS packages for data processing.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data transformation and analytics.
• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from multiple sources.
• Select, implement, and support Big Data tools and frameworks for processing and integration.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data processing issues with root-cause analysis.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with product management and SRE to define requirements and translate to engineering work.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on data strategy and outcomes.
