McGraw Hill is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Data and Analytics to advance our BI and data platform capabilities on AWS and Databricks.

You will design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines, delta lake architectures, and Unity Catalog governance to deliver reliable insights.

This fully remote role requires strong SQL and Python/Scala skills, collaboration with product and analytics teams, and a focus on scalable, production-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience in cloud platforms.
• Deep expertise in data lakehouse architectures and Delta Lake.
• Strong SQL and programming skills (Python/Scala).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver data solutions on Databricks using Delta Lake.
• Build and maintain lakehouses with Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion patterns.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines with Spark (PySpark/Scala) on Databricks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into production pipelines.
