AnewHealth is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize complex data systems for Pharmacy Benefit Management clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions that drive analytics and BI, focusing on data warehousing and modern software practices.

The role emphasizes agile collaboration, code quality, performance tuning, and mentorship, with a fully remote work option. Strong SQL, cloud data skills, and healthcare knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 10+ years of SQL database development with Microsoft SQL Server toolset.
• Experience with data warehouse methodologies and OLAP.
• Proficiency in data modeling, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver data solutions per requirements and schedules.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to evaluate systems and plan future features.
• Test, debug and enhance code, processes, or reports.
• Maintain ETL processes and SQL code related to data submissions.
• Monitor and optimize database performance and indexing strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
