Trility Consulting LLC is seeking a Senior Data Consultant to modernize an Azure Synapse data platform, migrate workloads to Microsoft Fabric, and build scalable, metadata-driven ingestion pipelines. You will collaborate with client engineers to shape the Fabric architecture, implement validation, and establish CI/CD for data platform artifacts in a remote U.S.

environment. You will work hands-on with Fabric, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Claude Code, contributing to repeatable patterns and governance

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Services including Fabric, Data Factory, Databricks, or Synapse
• Hands-on Fabric experience in production environments with lakehouses and pipelines
• Strong experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines and reusable ingestion frameworks
• Metadata-driven ingestion framework design with config-based onboarding
• Spark notebooks and data workflows using PySpark and Spark SQL
• Strong SQL skills for data transformation and validation
• Experience with Azure Synapse and data processing dependencies
• Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) knowledge
• Git-based CI/CD workflows for data platform artifacts
• Claude Code for AI-assisted software development and code review
• Data migrations validation and data quality assurance
• Data integration from REST APIs, relational and semi-structured sources
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and catalog concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Client-facing collaboration experience
• Consulting or professional services experience (preferred)

Mansioni

• Evaluate and refine the Fabric architecture and metadata structures
• Design metadata-driven ingestion framework with configuration-based onboarding
• Migrate data sources/workloads from Azure Synapse to Fabric
• Develop Fabric data pipelines and Spark notebooks using PySpark and Spark SQL
• Analyze Synapse pipelines and translate logic to Fabric
• Build data validation and reconciliation processes for migration accuracy
• Implement CI/CD and environment promotion for Fabric artifacts
• Use Claude Code to define specifications and review AI-generated code
• Collaborate with client engineers to establish engineering standards
• Ensure performance, testing, monitoring, documentation, security, and operations best practices
