Job summary

DecisionPoint seeks a Senior Data and BI Developer to design, build, and maintain data models, ETL processes, and dashboards supporting the USMEPCOM ENLIST program. You will translate mission requirements into maintainable data structures and reporting products while supporting accuracy, performance, and usability.

You will collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, governance personnel, BI specialists, testers, and government stakeholders throughout development and deployment.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8570-certified duties.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in data/BI roles.
• Experience designing and developing data models, ETL, and data warehouse components.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports for analytical consumption.
• Ability to translate requirements into robust data structures and reporting logic.
• Strong data governance, metadata management, and lineage understanding.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data models for warehouse and analytics.
• Develop and maintain metadata, data definitions, mappings, and transformation docs.
• Build and optimize ETL processes from approved sources.
• Create warehouse tables, views, relationships, and reporting components.
• Translate requirements into transformations, calculations, and reporting logic.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations; support self-service reporting.
• Validate mappings, counts, totals, and reporting outputs; maintain lineage.
• Coordinate schema changes and maintain documentation and deployment procedures.
