Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Quality & Test Automation Engineer to validate data pipelines, schemas, calculations, datasets, and reporting outputs for the USMEPCOM ENLIST program. You will develop SQL reconciliation tests, automated regression checks, and data-quality controls to ensure accuracy and traceability across sources, warehouses, dashboards, and reports.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of professional experience in data quality, data engineering, or testing.
• Active Secret clearance or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience developing and executing SQL reconciliation tests.
• Experience validating data pipelines.
• Experience developing or maintaining automated regression tests.
• Experience performing access testing.
• Experience implementing or validating data-quality controls.
• Ability to independently validate schemas, calculations, datasets, and reporting outputs.
• Ability to develop and execute data freshness and performance tests.

Responsibilities

• Independently validate data pipelines, schemas, transformations, calculations, datasets, and reporting outputs against requirements and rules.
• Develop SQL reconciliation tests comparing source data with intermediate datasets and outputs.
• Verify record counts, totals, aggregations, joins, and source-to-target completeness.
• Test data schemas, field types, required values, relationships, and schema changes.
• Build automated regression checks for pipeline, schema, calculation, or reporting updates.
• Validate data-quality controls for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
• Develop access tests to verify authorized access and restrictions.
• Test data freshness, schedules, latency, and reporting performance.
• Record and track defects; verify corrections through retesting.
• Maintain traceability among requirements, tests, datasets, and results.
