Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Manager to acquire, clean and develop datasets from internal and external sources to support business analysis and reporting.

The role will develop and execute data architectures, policies and procedures to manage the full data lifecycle for the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of data analysis experience with ETL tools, 3 years with DataBricks, and strong SQL, cloud, and Power Platform skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical experience in data analysis using ETL tools and developing ETL solutions.
• 3 years experience using DataBricks.
• Experience in SQL with SSMS/SSIS.
• Cloud tech (Azure Synapse, Snowflake) and Power Platform experience.
• Experience turning complex data into accessible insights for leaders.
• Experience leading projects through full life cycle (design to deployment).
• Proficient in root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Strong presentation skills for client meetings.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data governance and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, clean and develop datasets from internal/external sources to support analysis and reporting.
• Develop and execute data architectures, policies, and procedures for full data lifecycle.
• Prepare data for reporting including visualizations to support business requirements.
• Interact with business and IT to understand user needs and translate to data requirements.
• Lead projects through design, coding, review and deployment lifecycle.
• Deliver insights through in-depth data analysis to drive business outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle multiple priorities.
