Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Dam Safety Engineer – FERC IC to join our team in multiple locations across the United States. This fully remote position requires a licensed PE with a strong background in civil, structural, hydrological, or geotechnical engineering related to dam safety evaluations. Responsibilities include leading dam safety assessments, managing projects, and mentoring junior staff. A competitive compensation package includes a salary range of $165,000 - $250,000, along with a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering consulting experience, particularly in dam safety evaluations.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in good standing.
• Strong experience with FERC Part 12D inspections and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Perform dam safety evaluations including FERC inspections.
• Lead PFMA and L2RA workshops.
• Oversee geotechnical and structural evaluations of dams.
