Job summary

Darkroom is hiring an Associate Director of Creator, Social Commerce to drive content and influencer strategy across client campaigns. This senior individual-contributor role focuses on building creator relationships, shaping market-ready content, and translating data into sharper hooks and briefs.

You will collaborate with strategy, media buying, and creative teams to align content with brand goals and performance targets, while operating in a remote EST timezone.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in content strategy, influencer marketing, or social commerce.
• Proven track record building influencer relationships and sourcing partners.
• Strong content instincts with a data-driven approach.
• Comfortable using performance data to inform creative decisions.
• Deep fluency in TikTok, Instagram, and emerging channels.
• Experience using influencer sourcing tools (e.g., TikTok Creator Marketplace, UpPromote).
• Excellent communicator and collaborator across departments.
• Highly self-directed and able to own outcomes as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Define content strategy across client campaigns and formats.
• Build and manage creator relationships and partnerships.
• Develop hooks and briefs using data signals.
• Analyze content and campaign performance to optimize outputs.
• Collaborate with Strategy, Media Buying, and Creative teams.
• Report on content performance and influencer contribution using KPIs.
• Stay ahead of platform trends and creator behavior.
