Job summary

Fortrea is seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) with ophthalmology expertise to monitor clinical trials in designated hub locations and remotely across the United States. You will perform site visits, ensure protocol compliance, manage study files, and support vendor coordination.

Travel 30-50% overnight is required; candidates should hold a related degree and have 3+ years of monitoring experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites including routine visits and close-out.
• Maintain study files and conduct pre-study and initiation visits.
• Liaise with vendors and coordinate project plans.
• Conduct general on-site monitoring and staff training.
• Ensure informed consent and protocol adherence per regulations.
• Review CRFs and data quality; manage SAE reporting.
• Act as local client contact and support project coordination.
• Travel 30-50% overnight across the US.
