SoLo Funds Inc. seeks an Associate General Counsel & Director of Compliance to guide growth and lead the compliance program. You will advise on product, partnerships, and consumer lending while translating regulatory requirements into practical policies and controls.

This hands‑on role requires strong judgment, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to implement scalable compliance programs across the organization.

Formación

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar membership in good standing.
• 5+ years of legal and compliance experience.
• Experience building or improving an operational compliance program.
• Strong knowledge of consumer financial protection laws (e.g., TILA/Reg Z, EFTA/Reg E, FCRA).
• Experience working with regulators, banks, or auditors.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal advice on consumer lending, payments, bank partnerships, and new products.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, vendor, tech, and partnership agreements.
• Prepare member agreements, disclosures, terms of service, and privacy notices.
• Work with Product and Engineering to embed legal requirements into product design.
• Lead compliance program design, monitoring, training, and reporting.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations, licensing, filings, and audits.
