Paylocity is a leading cloud-based HR and payroll software provider delivering a comprehensive platform for the modern workforce. This role supports the development and execution of strategic M&A, capital markets, and business development initiatives alongside senior management and the CFO.

You will work cross-functionally to analyze opportunities, build financial models, and support diligence and integration efforts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or related transaction services
• Direct experience supporting M&A execution, including due diligence, financial modeling, and deal analysis
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with ability to build pro forma and operating models independently

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives around M&A, capital markets, and business development
• Analyze high-priority markets and opportunities with ad hoc analyses and financial modeling
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive diligence, business case creation, and integration efforts
