Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, Corporate Communications to shape the company’s story across virtual learning and enterprise priorities. This strategic, hands-on role spans integrated, executive and issues communications to protect and enhance Pearson’s reputation.

You will deliver high‑quality communications materials, briefings, and stakeholder content while collaborating with Marketing, Product, Sales and HR. Remote work is available in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Broad experience across Corporate, Strategic or Integrated Communications.
• Strong narrative development and ability to adapt messages for multiple audiences.
• Experience supporting executive communications, leadership events and thought leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive and reactive communications across PR, internal communications, social media and crisis communications.
• Develop narratives and messaging frameworks aligned to Pearson’s priorities.
• Support Pearson’s Virtual Learning and connect activity to Career Readiness and AI Innovation.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, Media Relations, Government Relations and HR.
• Prepare senior leaders for media opportunities and events with briefing memos and presentations.
• Monitor media and reputational risks to inform strategies and recommendations.
• Produce executive-ready materials in Word and PowerPoint.
