Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active license to practice law in California, in good standing.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in construction law, litigation, or related practice area.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level legal counsel on complex construction law, lien, and contract matters.
• Handle a select caseload of high-value or high-complexity matters.
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations as needed.
• Draft and review contracts, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Mentor associates and paralegals on construction law matters.
• Support business development with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in California.
• Stay current on California construction law, lien law, and related developments.
• Maintain flexibility to manage other professional commitments alongside this role.
