Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Sr. Configuration Analyst to support VA applications and lead cloud migration efforts. The role emphasizes autonomous work, trusted advisory skills, and strong CM, release engineering, and DevOps expertise.

This is a 100% remote position with a focus on scalable, compliant build and deployment processes across environments. Required are a CS/Engineering degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, plus CMII/ITIL or equivalent certifications preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, e.g. or related discipline.
10+ years of relevant experience; 8 additional years may substitute for education.
ITIL Foundation, CMII or equivalent CM certifications preferred.
Proven lead on complex software builds/releases across environments.
Experience in large regulated or federal environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain configuration mgmt tools for identification, control, reporting and delivery of software products.
Perform CM and release engineering tasks; ensure parameters documented and compliant with hardware configs.
Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools to improve software modeling and development.
Design and implement build procedures supporting product development and use.
May train developers in CM tools and quality standards.
