Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensure retention, and support new business. You will coordinate daily admin and client service activities, resolve complex issues, and maintain accuracy across policy data.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in account management (or 5+ years in insurance), an active P&C license (CIC preferred), and strong analytical, communication, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain industry knowledge and technical competence.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
