Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Manager for the Commercial Lines book. You will manage assigned accounts, retain clients, and support new business while coordinating day-to-day administrative and service activities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in account management in insurance, an active license (CIC preferred), and strong analytical and communication skills. The role requires leadership for the account management team and a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience in insurance
• Active license; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office with Excel

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for accuracy.
• Communicate workload status with the team and management.
• Deliver service excellence and respond to requests promptly.
• Stay updated on company policies and seek improvements.
