Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Commercial Counsel to support a fast-moving IT-focused business from a remote US-based position. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, and vendor agreements, while partnering with Sales, GTM, and procurement teams to balance speed and risk.

The role emphasizes building scalable contracting practices, improving templates, and guiding cross-functional partners in a growing SaaS environment. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active U.S. license.
• 5+ years of legal experience, including 4 years in-house at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
• Experience drafting and negotiating vendor, procurement, and technology agreements.
• Familiar with contract management systems (Ironclad) and AI-powered contract tools.
• Collaborative mindset with problem solving in dynamic environments.
• Privacy experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements including MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales and GTM teams, providing solution-oriented legal guidance.
• Support agreements related to partners and resellers, including channel relationships and strategic collaborations.
• Develop and enhance contract templates, negotiation guidelines, and scalable contracting processes.
• Identify and escalate legal risks while supporting business momentum.
