Job summary

CrowdStrike, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Network Development Engineer to design and operate our global cloud networking infrastructure.

You will work at the intersection of cloud networking, automation, and engineering execution to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable platform delivery. You will collaborate with senior architects, security engineers, and platform teams to implement patterns and delivery pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or network engineering.
• Hands-on AWS experience (Transit Gateway, VPCs, multi-account patterns, IAM, Network Firewall).
• Proficient with Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiar with architecture review or governance processes and infrastructure standards.
• Strong cloud networking background including multi-region connectivity and hybrid/on-premises integration.
• Experience contributing to cloud migration or data center consolidation with IaC delivered.
• Clear written and verbal communication with technical and cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to leverage AI technologies to enhance workflows and troubleshooting.
• Experience with network monitoring and observability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in architecture and design reviews across infrastructure, platform engineering, and integration initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and improve infrastructure-as-code modules and templates (Terraform, networking standards, multi-account structures).
• Implement and operate on-prem and multi-region cloud networking architectures (Transit Gateway, centralized inspection VPC models).
• Support cloud migration and data center exit programs and coordinate across stakeholders.
• Create enablement resources and documentation to help engineering adopt cloud-native and IaC-driven operating models.
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to peers and leadership.
