Job summary

OnTrac is seeking a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to drive automation and IaC standards across the global Terraform ecosystem. You will partner with development teams to shift to code-defined infrastructure on GCP, while maturing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and extending Ansible playbooks for provisioning.

You will lead the move to scalable, resilient architectures using Kubernetes and Linux foundations, with strong governance and on-call readiness to assure reliability.

Qualifications

• 5 years in Cloud Infrastructure & Systems Engineering with IaC focus.
• Advanced Terraform: scalable modules, state management & reuse.
• Hands-on GCP provisioning: Shared VPCs, IAM, Cloud SQL via IaC.
• Experience building automated IaC pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in Ansible to complement Terraform provisioning.
• Strong Linux admin skills and container/orchestration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own and modernize the global Terraform ecosystem with reusable modules.
• Build robust Azure DevOps pipelines for infrastructure releases.
• Design resilient GCP foundations defined entirely in code.
• Establish IaC governance, code reviews, and module docs.
• Plan compute and container strategies across workloads.
• Define reliability, observability, and on-call practices.
