Job summary

Google, part of Google Cloud, is seeking an Incident Response Consultant to provide industry-leading incident response, assessment, transformation, managed detection and response, and training services. You will help organizations detect and respond to threats, resolve incidents quickly at scale, and manage critical investigations including forensic analysis and threat hunting.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of end-to-end incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions.
• 5 years of investigative experience with network forensics, malware triage, cloud forensics, or disk/memory forensics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to investigate and contain incidents.
• Codify attacker Tools, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
• Conduct host forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage.
• Lead client-facing incident response engagements across cloud, endpoint, and network sources.
• Develop reports and present remediation strategies to technical and executive stakeholders.
