General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. Data Migration Engineer to support the Case Management Modernization (CMM) program for AO’s federal courts.

You will lead data migration, validation, and archival activities across cloud data platforms, collaborating with DBAs, platform engineers, and governance teams. The role requires 5+ years in data migration/ETL and a strong background in data engineering, cloud solutions, and large-scale data workflows.

Qualifications

5+ years of related experience in data migration and ETL.
Strong data engineering and architecture background.
Experience with cloud data platforms and SQL optimization.

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee enterprise data migration and archival efforts.
Develop migration strategies, schedules, dependencies, and execution procedures.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for legacy-to-cloud transfers.
Validate migrated data via reconciliation, completeness checks, and QA testing.
Collaborate with DBAs, platform engineers, and governance teams.
Optimize migration performance for large-scale datasets.
