Job summary

Alutiiq, LLC, a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation, seeks a Sr Cloud Architect to support enterprise systems and secure infrastructure modernization. This role offers local on-site ownership plus remote work, translating business and mission requirements into scalable, resilient network solutions.

You will shape long-term technology strategy, collaborating with cybersecurity, cloud, software, and operations teams to support critical missions globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in cloud computing, data delivery, analytics or equivalent.
• 3+ years guiding developers or platform admins.
• Experience with agile scrum.
• Hands-on with Microsoft GCC/GCC High.
• Strong Microsoft stack: Entra ID, Intune, M365, Windows Server, networking.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, high availability.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and VPN/firewall considerations.
• Experience with VMWare.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Federal/DoD/regulatory experience (CMMC, NIST 800-171) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain secure enterprise systems across Windows, Linux, virtualization, DNS/DHCP/NTP, PKI and storage.
• Coordinate with network and cyber teams to ensure secure, monitored, accredited systems.
• Lead cloud architecture patterns for Azure, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Plan migrations and cutover tasks with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with vendors and third parties to meet schedules.
• Incorporate Zero Trust, identity-centric security, and data protection into enterprise designs.
