Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Architect to lead enterprise cybersecurity efforts, shaping Zero Trust strategies across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments. You will guide major IT security projects, mentor staff, and communicate complex designs clearly to stakeholders.

The role emphasizes deep expertise in Zero Trust, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and NIST frameworks, with a focus on protecting critical state and enterprise systems in Maryland-based on-site settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• At least ten (10) years experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.
• Seven (7) years or more in direct design and implementation of enterprise-level cybersecurity architectures.
• Experience leading architectural design of major IT security projects with Zero Trust, cloud security, and NIST frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Act as chief architect in major IT implementation efforts and mentor junior staff.
• Lead the development and implementation of a Zero Trust Architecture roadmap for cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments.
• Ensure alignment with government or organizational standards (e.g., NIST SP 800‑207).
• Provide technical guidance and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
