Job summary

Natera is seeking a skilled clinical data abstractor to review and encode patient data from diverse sources. This role focuses on accurate abstraction, coding, and data management within EHRs and EDC systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams to support QA/QC and regulatory reporting while maintaining strict HIPAA privacy standards. The ideal candidate has a nursing- or advanced-clinical background with experience in cancer or women's health data, and is proficient in tools like REDCap,

Qualifications

• U.S. licensed Nurse, PA-C, NP, or DNP with a Master’s degree in health sciences.
• 4-5 years of clinical data abstraction and medical records review, preferably in cancer, women’s health, rare diseases.
• Experience encoding data using ICD-10-CM and SNOMED CT; data mapping and harmonization.
• HIPAA compliance and data integrity are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite; pivot tables and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review and abstract clinical patient data from EHRs, paper charts, and other sources.
• Apply ICD-10-CM, MedDRA, CPT, HCPCS coding and standard care guidelines for data classification.
• Utilize REDCap and EDC systems to enter and maintain clinical data.
• Support cross-functional teams in AI and LLM initiatives.
• Ensure quality with QA/QC and adherence to IRB, HIPAA, CGDMP, and GCP.
