Job summary

Velera, a premier payments technology provider, seeks a Client Delivery Analyst III to lead complex debit/credit project implementations for financial institutions. You will consult with clients on business and technical requirements, coordinate across client, vendor, and internal teams, and guide the project from planning through delivery.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of related experience in the payment processing industry.
• Five (5) years of related experience in business or system analysis.
• Three (3) years of client facing project support experience.
• Experience required completing card processing conversions that require migrating data between platforms.
• Thorough understanding of payment card products, support services and processes.
• Training in Six Sigma Methodology and project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with client to discuss specifications for complex projects and facilitate meetings with key client personnel.
• Complete Gap Analysis to define system setup requirements.
• Provide consulting and guidance to meet business requirements for assigned implementations.
• Understand client business requirements and map data between systems.
• Work with client staff and vendors to execute the project plan on time.
• Identify and report outstanding issues and assist with resolution.
• Explain technical aspects to third-party vendors and internal teams.
• Validate system parameters and conduct testing; adjust as needed.
• Provide technical support during design, development, and implementation phases.
• Offer after-hours on-call support and occasional on-site assistance.
• Follow change control processes and mentor junior staff.
• Develop relationships with clients and internal teams to deliver complex implementations.
• Assist in improving defined department processes.
• Assist in training and mentoring less-tenured analysts.
• Contribute to templates for product/service requirements and steps.
• Complete tasks across department projects.
