Job summary

Safety National is seeking a Senior Ceded Reinsurance Manager to lead ceded reinsurance placement and analysis in partnership with the Treaty Committee. You will collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, accounting, claims, brokers, and reinsurers to develop effective reinsurance solutions that protect financial strength and align with business objectives.

You will oversee facultative placements, coordinate treaty renewals, and ensure accurate reporting and documentation across all ceded

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Accounting, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience with underwriting, accounting, and claims processes.
• Strong knowledge of reinsurance contract wording and underlying policies.
• Experience in reinsurance placements, treaty administration, and facultative placements.

Responsibilities

• Lead ceded reinsurance placement and analysis with Treaty Committee.
• Coordinate treaty renewals and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
• Collaborate with brokers, reinsurers, and internal teams to develop reinsurance solutions.
• Drive process improvements through reporting standardization and system enhancements.
