Job summary

Safety National in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Ceded Reinsurance Manager to lead ceded reinsurance placement, treaty administration, and reporting. You will partner with underwriting, actuarial, accounting, claims, brokers, and reinsurers to craft solutions that protect financial strength and support strategic objectives.

In this role you’ll oversee complex programs, renewals, and documentation, drive process improvements, and mentor teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with underwriting, accounting, and claims processes.
• Strong knowledge of reinsurance contracts and GAAP/statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and implementation of complex reinsurance programs.
• Oversee facultative placements, coordinate treaty renewals, and maintain documentation.
• Provide guidance to internal partners and foster broker/reinsurer relationships.
• Drive process improvements through reporting standardization and system enhancements.
