Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager for a fully remote role based in the U.S. The position leads category strategies, supplier negotiations, and end-to-end sourcing processes to optimize cost, quality, and service across healthcare categories.

The role requires 5+ years in healthcare supply chain, strong contract and supplier-management skills, and the ability to work with clinical and financial leaders. This is a full-time remote opportunity with EST business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 5 years of direct relevant work experience in healthcare supply chain will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Proven experience in sourcing, contracting, procurement within a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier relationship management

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes category strategies using spend analysis, market intelligence, and risk assessments to optimize cost, quality, and service.
• Leads and coaches a team of sourcing professionals, building technical expertise and leadership.
• Manages end to end sourcing processes, including supplier identification, negotiations, contracting, and policy compliant execution.
• Drives cost optimization initiatives through utilization analysis, pricing strategies, and standardization.
