Job summary

The Vita Coco Company is seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead category strategy across Grocery, Natural, and Drug channels. You will own Kroger, Albertsons, and the Drug Channel, driving growth acceleration across these cards while coaching a team of direct reports.

As a remote role, you will report to the Senior Director of Category & Consumer Insights and collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to craft compelling, data-driven narratives and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field.
• 7–10 years of category management experience.
• Experience with 84.51 is required.
• Significant experience with scanning data sources such as Circana or NIQ.
• Mastery of panel data sources such as Numerator, Circana, and/or retailer data sources.
• Experience with JDA or other space-planning software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Own storytelling to turn data into actionable narratives for internal teams.
• Partner with Sales to enhance retailer partnerships and drive growth.
• Develop channel-specific selling materials and category visuals.
• Coach and develop direct reports and manage team workload.
• Monitor KPIs and analyze shelving, pricing, assortment, and merchandising.
