Job summary

Archer Meat Snacks seeks a Senior Category Development Manager to lead category strategy for national retail partners and serve as a trusted category advisor across Grocery, Mass, Natural, Club, Convenience, and E-Commerce channels.

You will transform category insights into selling stories, develop data-driven recommendations, and partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions while traveling to retailer meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in Category Management or related CPG functions.
• Experience supporting national retail customers across multiple channels.
• Proficiency with retailer analytics platforms to develop insights.
• Ability to develop retailer category reviews and fact-based selling presentations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary category development partner for Archer's national retail customers.
• Translate category strategy into customer-specific recommendations.
• Develop selling stories using syndicated and customer data for line reviews and innovations.
• Build relationships with category managers and retail stakeholders.
• Lead customer-facing category presentations and retailer meetings.
