Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Capital Project Estimator for a hybrid role, preferably Wilmington, DE, with flexibility for other Chemours sites. The role targets capital and non-capital estimates across project life cycles to help teams achieve competitive costs and robust risk input.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of estimating in petrochemical/heavy industry and experience with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, Aspen In Plant Cost estimator, and @Risk Monte Carlo. TZ-based travel expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience in petrochemical, heavy industrial or related industry.
• Experience with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator and Aspen In Plant Cost estimator.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels within and outside Chemours.
• Based in Central (CT) or Eastern (ET) time zones and able to commute to facilities in the region.

Responsibilities

• Provides cost estimates for capital and non-capital projects across life cycle stages.
• Develops conceptual, authorization, and check-authorization estimates.
• Generates cost reduction concepts to improve project efficiency.
• Leads early estimate planning and updates through implementation.
• Maintains cost libraries and historical data.
• Supports risk discussions with Competency Leads.
• Compiles benchmark data to assess competitiveness and drive improvements.
