Maverick Payments is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager in Calabasas, CA. The role focuses on acquiring and growing ISO, agent, referral, and strategic partner relationships, driving revenue and profitability while collaborating with internal teams to optimize the partner journey.

The successful candidate will lead discovery, proposal development, contract negotiations, onboarding, and partner activation, with a strong payments industry background and a proven sales track record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5-7 years' experience in Sales or Business Development.
• Experience in the merchant service or payment processing industry.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and onboard new ISO, agent, and referral partners.
• Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to activation.
• Develop territory strategies to meet acquisition and revenue goals.
• Negotiate agreements and terms within guidelines.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and forecast in CRM.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure partner success.
