Summit Consulting is seeking a seasoned Growth & Business Development professional to lead strategic marketing initiatives for its Virginia operations. You will identify profitable opportunities, educate agencies on product placement, and drive revenue growth while building long-term partnerships.

The role requires 5+ years in strategic development or marketing, a BA/BS in a related field, and relevant certifications (AU, CPCU, CIC, INS, ARM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in strategic business development, marketing, or a related role.
• Certifications including AU, CPCU, CIC, INS or ARM.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic marketing plans considering agency strengths, competitors, and market conditions.
• Identifies profitable new business opportunities and increases market share.
• Cultivates relationships with agencies to improve retention and satisfaction.
• Educates agencies on product features and market placement.
• Drives revenue growth by achieving sales targets and cross-/upselling where appropriate.
• Performs market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
