Job summary

Allied Consultants, Inc, an Austin-based firm with 34+ years in Texas, seeks an experienced Business Analyst to support the Information, Innovation & Insight Department. You will perform complex systems analysis, write detailed requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on a large solution implementation project.

The role requires developing BRD/SRS, crafting user stories, and leading testing activities while ensuring traceability across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements covering business analysis and systems analysis.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements with stakeholders.
• Experience creating business process maps and fit-gap analyses.
• Experience solving complex software problems and troubleshooting systems.
• Experience coordinating requirements across multiple programs in a remote environment.
• Experience developing BRD and SRS documents.
• Experience facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the Information, Innovation & Insight Department and business stakeholders; perform complex to advanced Business Analyst work including systems analysis, software analysis, design and test activities.
• Document detailed system requirements (functional, technical, EIR accessibility, and Security).
• Write and groom user stories with business owners and technical teams.
• Create business process maps, conceptual models and system architecture diagrams to support project needs.
• Review and develop test cases and scenarios based on requirements to ensure traceability.
