Job summary

The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) seeks a Business Analyst Officer to lead the Business Analyst Unit in Juneau or Anchorage. This senior role combines project management leadership with oversight of BA operations to align IT initiatives with agency priorities.

This position ensures statutory compliance, guides staff, and serves as a liaison between operations and technical teams, enabling effective program delivery and data integrity across the agency.

Qualifications

• Eight years of work experience in analytical roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead BA operations and provide direction for Analysts.
• Provide project management leadership for large interdepartmental projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and deliverables; brief senior management on progress.
• Analyze data processing concepts and reporting needs; improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff; guide workload and priorities.
• Oversee documentation of loan, scholarship, and grant data as needed.
