Placements24 is seeking a Senior Blockchain Security Engineer for a fully remote role. You will safeguard blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and digital assets against sophisticated threats, leading security initiatives and audits.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to embed security across the SDLC, mentor junior engineers, and stay ahead of emerging threats. This is a high-impact position offering broad influence across decentralized finance projects.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in CS, cybersecurity, or related field.
• At least 6 years in cybersecurity with >=3 in blockchain security.
• Expertise in Solidity and Rust smart contracts and vulnerabilities.
• Experience with incident response, forensics, and reverse engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture design for blockchain protocols and dApps.
• Audit and pentest smart contracts, DeFi protocols, and infra.
• Develop security tools and automated vulnerability detection.
• Investigate incidents; perform forensic analysis; remediate.
• Embed security into SDLC with engineering teams.
• Monitor emerging threats and mitigations.
• Develop security policies, standards, procedures.
• Mentor junior security engineers; provide security training.
• Assess cryptographic risks in blockchain apps.
• Engage with blockchain security community and open-source efforts.
