RootstockLabs is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to secure our DeFi infrastructure by reviewing code, smart contracts, and protocol changes. You will build security automation and coordinate bug bounty programs, while researching attack techniques and coordinating with external auditors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Application Security or Security Engineering.
• Hands-on blockchain security experience: audits or protocol/node security.
• Experience building security automation and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform security reviews of source code, smart contracts, and protocol changes.
• Threat-model new products and features with development teams.
• Triage and validate bug bounty reports and coordinate remediation.
• Collaborate on external security audits with third-party auditors.
• Build and operate security automation and CI/DevSecOps pipelines.
• Research attack techniques and translate findings into defenses.
• Support incident investigations when application-layer issues arise.
