Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Blockchain Security Auditor to join a globally distributed team on a fully remote basis. You will conduct in-depth audits of smart contracts and blockchain protocols, identify vulnerabilities, and provide actionable remediation guidance to protect decentralized applications.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in cybersecurity with blockchain auditing, expertise in Solidity/Vyper/Rust, and familiarity with tools like Slither, Mythril, and Foundry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of cybersecurity experience with blockchain and smart contract auditing.
• Proven track record auditing smart contracts on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in Solidity, Vyper, and Rust.
• Identify and document vulnerabilities including reentrancy, overflows, access control, and gas exploits.
• Analyze smart contract logic and on-chain data to detect security risks.
• Develop and use static/dynamic analysis tools to improve audit efficiency.
• Provide remediation guidance to development teams.
• Stay updated on blockchain threats, attack vectors, and best practices.
• Contribute to security standards and best practices for smart contracts.
• Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Engage in continuous learning to maintain expertise.
