Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Senior Billing Specialist for a remote role in the United States. You will manage failed bills/claims, electronic submissions, and rebilling tasks across multiple payers, ensuring timely resolutions and accurate documentation.

The position requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, CPB/CRCR certification within 9 months, and proficiency with Excel. Travel to client sites may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; CPB/CRCR certification within 9 months of hire.
• Billing experience across multiple payers; strong Excel skills.
• Ability to learn and use billing software; attention to accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Review/update failed bills/claims on host system and billing vendor.
• Process daily electronic submissions (277s) and resolve claim issues.
• Monitor daily claims errors and propose fixes for systems.
• Handle late charges and rebills; attach required documents for payment.
• Pull EOBs/Medical Records; contact patients/insurers for information.
• Create training materials and educate staff; support onboarding.
