Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst to support the expansion of value-based programs and collaboration with providers on the Service Fund team.

You will help develop, implement and value new programs while maintaining current initiatives. You will employ complex SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Excel to produce monthly reporting and ad hoc analyses, supporting payments to value-based specialists and evaluating new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of data analysis OR Master's plus 3+ years of data analysis.
• 2+ years of advanced SQL development.
• 1+ year healthcare data experience (provider, insurance, etc.).
• Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formatting).
• Experience with large, complex datasets and communicating with senior/executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Use complex SQL and Azure Synapse Analytics to drive process improvement and value-based relationships.
• Research and report monthly activity to interpret data for current and future programs.
• Produce reports and handle ad hoc requests using Excel and analytics tools.
• Support payments to value-based specialists.
• Evaluate new value-based program opportunities.
