Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst to support expansion of value-based programs, working with providers to achieve success on the Service Fund team.

You will report to the Associate Director, Business Intelligence and help develop, implement and value new programs while maintaining current ones. The role requires strong SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics and Excel skills, with experience in healthcare data and the ability to communicate with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of data analysis experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• 2+ years advanced experience developing complex SQL queries.
• 1+ years Healthcare data experience (provider, Insurance).
• Experience with Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience handling large, complex data sets in large organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication to senior/executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics and other tools to drive process improvement.
• Researches and reports monthly activity to understand data implications for current and future programs.
• Supports ad hoc reporting requests using Excel and analytics tools.
• Provides support for payments to value-based specialists.
• Assists in evaluating new value-based program opportunities.
